Norteño, Sureño Gang Fight Ends In Murder Charges | Crowley Law Firm To Represent David Chavez

On September 19, 2012 a gang fight erupted on a quiet street in Toppenish which resulted in the death of a member of the Sureño gang by a reported member of the Norteño gang.  The Crowley Law Firm always cautions when reading early news accounts that the facts of a case often turn out to be very different from the first reports and under the criminal justice system the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Crowley Law Firm will be representing Mr. David Chavez who was arrested and charged with second degree murder and first degree assault. The Crowley Law firm defends its clients vigorously. An arraignment is scheduled for October 9. According to news reports, “Court records show Chavez has a minor criminal history limited to some traffic tickets and a juvenile conviction in 2009 for third-degree malicious mischief (graffiti) and resisting arrest.”

As Seattle criminal defense attorneys the Crowley Law Firm practices in courts in Grant, Lewis and Yakima counties as well as many other courts in eastern and western Washington.
